This photo made us laugh! Effie has been into us for extensive surgery over the last few weeks after an injury to her hind leg. She is now allowed out for short walks. Grace her owner insisted on taking her Smart Collar in case she started to lick a her wound....ingenious way to carry it Grace!!

VETERINARY NURSE AWARENESS MONTH. May is National Veterinary Nursing Awareness Month. Veterinary nurses play a vital role within Stamford Veterinary Centre. We have 8 nurses at the practice, each with their very own interests in areas of the profession such as cardiology, physiotherapy, emergency & critical care, puppy/kitten development to name but a few. But their main focus will always be to ensure your pets are safe, happy and healthy. To celebrate NVN Month we will be giving away a Stamford Veterinary Centre Voucher worth £50! Simply like this post and if you want to share a photo of your pets that one of our team of veterinary nurses has helped over the years. To learn more about becoming a Veterinary Nurse, why not visit the British Veterinary Association website to find out more. #VNAM18

Stamford Veterinary Centre is now a registered 'Cat Friendly Clinic'. Cat Friendly Clinic is a worldwide programme from the International Society of Feline Medicine. Because of their unique nature and needs, taking cats to visit a veterinary centre can be very stressful, both for cats and their owners. Together with The Cat Friendly Clinic programme, Stamford Veterinary Centre aims to create a more cat friendly environment and so reducing the stress levels of our feline patients and making the visit eaiser for you too. To celebrate we are giving away 10 cat toys to 10 lucky winners. Simply Like this post and we will pick 10 winners at random on Monday morning. Good Luck!
